Find Funding

There are a number of resources available to assist in locating funding opportunities. Outside of what is listed below, google searches, talking to other faculty, and speaking with your contract and grants specialist are other good outlets.

Email Alert Services:

Grants.gov email notices - Notification of federal grants
NIH program updates - Notices for NIH program changes, new RFAs, and new PAs.
NASA Program updates - NASA program announcements, updated information, publication, and upcoming events at NASA
NSF program updates - Up-to-date NSF information, publications, and program announcements.
Chronicle of Philanthropy - A newsletter concerning the non-profit world, giving updates on new programs and call for submissions from foundations.
Community of Science - Information on federal and regional governments, foundations, professional societies, associations, and corporations.
Foundation Center - Maintains a database on over 70,000 agencies and over 300,000 grants.
Grants.net - Find funding opportunities for training in Biological and Medical Sciences.

Community of Science - When registering, make sure you associate yourself with The University of Alabama. This will ensure that you have access to everything that the Community of Science has to offer.
